Free Light Friday: 11-02-07

I used this week’s “Free Light Friday” image as a color enhancing overlay in this shot of Beth + Wade from a recent wedding.

In this image I used a 550ex shoe flash to camera left creating the flare and camera right was an Alien Bee 800 on a stand, a Canon 550 was on my camera as well. I felt that the image was a little cold and instead of using a global adjustment, or even a localized adjustment I prefer to draw upon the library of imagery I have to enhance images with a more subtle and organic touch. Many of them I call simply, ‘beautiful blurs’ and you can get a disk of them if you like. Otherwise, you might want to download this free one from Flickr (click through the image):
